It is time to clean out! We are set to have a garage sale this next Friday and Saturday, October 29-30. Signs will be posted at Cumberland, FM 346, HWY 69, and the end of County Road 15…come find us! We will have all of our items that are currently listed on the website discounted, plus lots more items that have never been listed! My husband will be so happy to be able to walk through the garage again without tripping!
Ah, the joys of being a treasure hunter!
SOLD!!! These are awesome canisters…very heavy and handblown! The pewter lids have roosters on them, and would go with a variety of decorating styles! They measure 18″, 16″, and 14″ tall. $50

I found these online from www.lafuente.com where the red set runs $219!
SOLD!! For those of you who love needlepoint as much as I do, here are 7 custom framed pieces for you! From butterflies to flowers, there are so many things you could do with these pieces…either hang in a grouping, or sprinkle them around the house to enjoy them wherever you are! $20 for all 7 pieces!

These 3 planters/baskets are in graduating sizes and would be great with seasonal chrysanthemums in them! One planter has been painted white, the other 2 their natural metal color. The 2 bigger ones are 21″ across, and the smaller one is 16″ across. $30 for all 3!

SOLD!!! I just love stained glass…the lovely way the sun catches the colors and makes them sparkle is just beautiful! This piece of stained glass is quite heavy, and is framed in white wood with eye bolts screwed into the frame so you can hang it in a window. There is one corner of the frame that needs to be re-glued, as it is separating. $25
SOLD!!! What a fun trunk for all of your treasures! Built of sturdy wood, the added details really make this trunk stand out. The curved top is accented with straps and nail heads, and there is a neat pattern routed into the panels around the base. It measures 27″ long by 20″ long. $45

Ahoy, ye Mateys!!

Lots of room inside!
SOLD!!! This full sized bed was bought for my daughter and she absolutely loved it! Unfortunately, in our new house we need 2 twin beds for the girls, so this one has to find a new home. The style of this bed is a little more unusual than most iron beds…this one is more delicate in style than you usually see. It comes complete with ticking mattresses that are in great condition, and also comes with over $1000 worth of bedding from Bufe and Babin. Included in the bedding is a reversible duvet cover, 3 reversible throw pillows, and a great layered dust ruffle. All of the bedding pieces are made of coordinating fabrics in red, blue and white. $250

Great vintage ticking mattress
I picked up this mirror because it has such great lines and aged color to the wood! It has a design carved into the back, as well as two attached shelves (which seemed to be consistent with washstands of the era…maybe to hold soap and other sundries?) I think it makes a lovely mantle mirror, but I have also included a picture of what it looked like married to a buffet that we own. Either way, it is a lovely design piece that will add vintage charm to whatever room you put it in! $40

Here it is on our buffet!

Here it is just sitting on my mantle...

And here it is with a bit of decoration!
SOLD!!! Here is a classy way to go from microwave/ oven to table top without having to change to a better looking serving dish! This 4 piece set is oven and microwave (but not stove top!) safe, and includes a covered casserole dish, an oval Au Gratin dish and a round dish. The set is shiny black stoneware for even heating, made by CorningWare, and is in excellent condition! $20 for all!
